We were primarily using Access Language Solutions for all our in-person appointments, but when we needed to use the phone we used a national company. When we had to switch to all phone interpreters during the COVID-19 pandemic we started using ALS for our phone calls. So far it is working well for us. The connection time seems shorter than the other company. With Access Language Solutions we have to wait very little time to be connected with an interpreter. The thing I most prefer about Access is that sometimes we get connected with a local interpreter whom we have used in person. That familiarity is helpful and you don’t get that with a national company.
The pricing is fair and it’s very easy and efficient to use. I also appreciate the way I can log into our account to check our usage. Another thing we appreciate about Access is how quick they are to respond to our requests and questions. We’re so grateful that we got this going before we had to move to so many over the phone appointments! It’s made a big difference.

CRCKY has been working with ALS for more than a year now. As a small nonprofit that requires regular interpretation services, we cannot afford some of the interpretation services larger groups can access, and are very grateful for the reasonable rates ALS charges. They have friendly, professional staff and always manage to find interpreters for us when our clients request one at the last minute.
ALS' BoostLingo program in particular has been enormously helpful to us. Our staff members can easily call back clients who dialed our 1-800 hotline, and start a three-way conversation over the phone. It's so easy, and at the low nonprofit rates that ALS offers, it really works for us. During Covid-19, we have had roughly 20 times as many clients as we had before, and ALS has always been able to keep up with our need. I honestly don't think we could have reached as many clients during the pandemic without ALS interpreters. Thanks ALS!

Access Language Solutions is a key partner in the services we offer through Surgery on Sunday. We serve many Spanish-speaking patients and have needed interpreters in nearly a dozen other languages in the last few years. Lynn Fors and her team are readily available to our staff for phone calls, office visits, and surgery days, and always provide excellent service. ALS interpreters are diligent in asking the nature of the patient’s health issues prior to patient communication and are very knowledgeable in a wide variety of clinical terminology.
They are always kind and caring but maintain a professional demeanor. As part of a fellow non-profit, ALS staff both believe in and support the mission of Surgery on Sunday to provide free outpatient surgery to individuals in need, and they have been wonderful to work with for over 3 years.
